Comments are blunt - men calling out a male predator. They never soften or qualify their language, they're as rude as they want to be, often with real names attached. No fears of getting fired or doxxed for them.

Fascinating, isn't it? ;-)

I've noticed that publications use the word "woman" when the person commits a crime, but "trans woman" when the person is a victim of a crime.

It's a way to further the victimhood narrative, while at the same time raising the rate of "female" criminals. It muddies the waters against feminists that want to talk about the reality and disproportionate nature of male violence.

Also, women get beaten, raped, killed every day for being women, the numbers worldwide are probably in the millions, but when someone beats up a single transwoman it's news-worthy and a hate crime. Don't get me wrong, I don't want transwomen or -men to face violence, but to act like trans people are in a special kind of danger that women DON'T ALSO face is wrong, and we didn't choose to live as women.

There's a ton of comments on Twitter calling out the article for referring to him as a "woman", which is encouraging. Unsurprisingly, there are absolutely no trans people clutching at their pearls screaming about misgendering on his behalf.

Of course, most readers will glance at the headline, maybe take in the name Julie, and walk away thinking: “lots of peds out there these days, and god, the women are putting in their share too.” And one more criminal sexist act added to the women’s crime ledger--and one less in the male column. (and another way TiMs mark women off for more violence)

Strange how it's only men and trans"women" who amass these insanely large collections of CP. Pure coincidence, I'm sure.
