If SAIDIT doesn't work out, would anyone be interested in creating a GC subreddit on Reddit where we speak entirely in code?

At the rate things are going with all the bans and accusations of hate speech, it may be harder to reach each other and have open discussions without being shut down.

Anyone interested in creating our own codespeak or GC language?

I'm not sure if I like the idea or not, but it's something I thought about earlier today if the bans start to spread further.

We've been reduced to the underground resistance? We have to speak in code because words like WOMAN and FEMALE could get us arrested and "disappeared" --- this is beyond insane.

The alt-right have already tried this several times and failed. One of their first attempts was r/frenworld, where they would communicate in frog cartoons. 'Frens' were white nationalists, 'nonfrens' were jews and 'bop' was kill. It wasn't as sinister as it sounds, it was mainly stupid as hell. Later they created subs like r/epicairconditioners where they posted about how the WHT3 air conditioner was the best. They still got banned.

You won't need it. The mods of r/GC are in the process of building their own site. As of last week they're beta testing already. You can check their Twitter feed for updates, or stay tune on s/GC.

It's an interesting idea but I suspect there would be no way to keep the codespeak from ending up in the wrong hands.

Plus we'd all have to use brand new alt accounts because it appears they are monitoring new subreddits to see if any of those mean old TERFs are trying to talk amongst themselves again.
