Is /r/feminism also compromised?

I went to take a look at /r/feminism and it seems...OK? Nothing that says TWAW. A couple posts about female bodies with no complaints. Does anyone know their stance on TWAW?

It was taken over by MRAs about 7 or 8 years ago (before I came to Reddit, but it was common knowledge when I joined in 2014). The previous female mod abandoned the sub and the MRAs swooped and took it over because it no longer had active mods. They then enforced their male version of what feminism should be.

Most of the original MRA mods left over time, but the current head mod demmian was one of them.

They have a very strict, pro-men version of "feminism" they enforce.

Yep. This would explain the statement one made when I was discussing unisex toilets and changing rooms and how dangerous they were for women.

I pointed out that about 10% of men were rapists, about 1/3 are lower level creeps.

The response was along the lines of 'women should put up with the risk/assaults because it's more important to be inclusive and not punish men for the offending of other men'.

Knowing that I was probably arguing with an MRA makes an awful lot more sense of that interaction.

Feminism is modded by a man. Lots of drama with the take over like 7 years ago by user demmian and you can see it’s mostly dead now because it’s so male-centric. Try saying anything about trans women or female spaces, bet 100% it’ll be removed.

Oh yes. Got a ban for saying something along the lines of "how do we know they have different offending rates?"

Instantly got a response of 'found the TERF' and a ban.

They have zero tolerance for any discussion.
