I would stick with gentle guiding questions, but only so long as she brings the topic up with you. Otherwise, I say leave it be for now. Does she share her blog with you? I'm surprised you found it.

If it does come up, I'd play the part of an outsider. "Why do you identify as non-binary and trans?" "What does it mean to be non-binary?" "Does that make me non-binary? I don't think I identify with femininity." "Are tomboys non-binary? Are butch lesbians? How do they know?"

Let her walk you through her ideology and gently probe the weak points with further questions. Don't approach it as changing her mind, just seek to understand. Get into the mindset of challenging your own ideology and let logic guide the conversation.

She shared art from her deviantart page and I found a link to her tumblr blog through there. This is really good advice. Thank you. I might indeed wait a little while for discussing it, especially since it would be better approached in person.
