Never see women get angry about video games for some reason. Glad to see Cyberpunk 2077 taking the GC approach.

The developers of that game have already caved to TRAs multiple times but I think at this point there is no way of satisfying the TRA twitter mob.

No, they haven't IMO. What people call you is locked to your voice which IRL is locked to your biological sex. No gender bullshit. You can have whatever body you want but you will still be male or female. CDPR TERF confirmed.

Isn't that most videogames though? I haven't played any recently, but... it's usually a female/male choice... and hey at least they get that, lol, as a kid I always played a dude cause that's all there was. Though it never bothered me tbh, maybe it should have, lol.

Yea it's every single game that lets you customize your character. The only difference is the cyberpunk transhumanist elements of changing your body.

I've seen someone get mad on Twitter, at Animal Crossing because you get letters from your mom. Your mom, in a game. (I haven't played any recent AC games but i did play it on my DS, I know what it's like). And some people don't have moms. Nintendo should have been more thoughtful!

Like shit is fucking ridiculous. Some people need to wake up and realize not everything is about them. Not everything is gonna be tailored to them.

Well according to a prominent TRA activist (i.e. some smug Portuguese TIM on twitter, lol) the word "mother" is cancelled anyway, we now have to use "child bearer" or "lactating person". So Animal Crossing is obviously offensive twice over.

Lmao imagine having a literal meltdown over something so minor. I think character customization is cool but it has never been the end of the world if a game doesn't have that or if the customization itself doesn't have a lot of options. Like imagine if I went "If this game doesn't have my EXACT SAME hair color then my experience will be RUINED, and I will boycott this game because of their PHOBIA against brown-haired people". These people are nuts.

I think it's hilarious they want the voice actors to redo every line 4 times just to tailor to them.
