Interesting Atwood signed considering her recent twitter activity

Looks like she's trying to play both sides. She'll have to learn just like Rowling had to, not to give them an inch.

I would say she's not playing the RadFem side at all, she doesn't even consider herself a feminist and the whole Handmaid's tale was about religion and not women, she's not on our side at all

Already multiple sites are posting counter articles, arguing that cancel culture is virtuous because it gets bad people to shut up for good and shows even celebrities that there are consequences for speaking out of line.

It’s all, “Of course, we need and should value open debate and dissenting opinions. But what if those opinions are wrong? Then we should, of course, exercise our own right to silence those people. Just as they have a right to enjoy the consequences of their wrong thoughts, once expressed, we, as a morally superior society, have the right to enforce those consequences on them.”

Matt Yglesias, a signatory from Vox Media, is getting backlash from a transwoman colleague. Emily VanDerWerff tweeted a copy of the letter she wrote to the editors of Vox about how she now feels unsafe at work and that they should definitely not fire him. https://twitter.com/emilyvdw/status/1280580388495097856

Why would she feel unsafe about a letter which doesn't address any specific type of cancellations? Why would not having everyone canceled right away make her unsafe? What, specifically, is happening when a polite and nuanced questioning of some of the tenets of trans theory is viewed as trying to get someone annihilated?

All the T__Fs must be ostracized like Bonapartist lepers! /s

Seriously, the trans-cult watches EVERYBODY with an online identity, just waiting for them to slip-up by forgetting to use "cis" or associating with a known T__F. They're addicted to the shitstorms they create when they whip-up the cancel crowd.
