This quote was used in the very beginning of handmaid's tale. Boiling to death in a gradually heating bathtub is what's happening to women, if this "progress" keeps happening. We vanish as actual female human beings to give all our spaces to men who wish to do so. All this with th help of the "woke" women. They don't have to slaughter the congress though, because they're helped out with legislation to erase women. I'm out of words.
