Thank you for your post. I'm Italian as well, I imagine you're referring to ArciLesbica. If you are not familiar with the "manifesto" issued by Cassero's queer activists in Bologna after that controversy, go and check it. It's a post on fb called "Le lesbiche non sono donne", May 29th, lesbian erasure at its finest (Eng: "Lesbians aren't women"). I was aghast, but it was enthusiastically welcomed by the LGBT community in the comments. I think you may have already read it, since it mentions a mythological "vagipene", an umpteenth word for "girl dick". Last weekend I couldn't go to Bologna Pride (well, the corona edition, ahah) and I must admit it was lucky I was busy, because I would have been deeply uncomfortable. I don't know if I belong there anymore, I understand your feelings. Also, it's nice to know that I'm not the only Italian here!! EDIT: The essay I mentioned was originally posted on "Lesbiche Bologna", my mistake

God I hated that post, it really made me puke. And some of my lesbian friends even liked it 😷

I'm glad I was not the only one disgusted by it. And the comments below? Overwhelming enthusiasm. Meh

They only understand slogans, zero reasoning behind things
