Do you really think it was the Right Wing that did this to you guys?

Good point, the left has become so misogynistic I'm not sure the MRA ideology can be branded exclusively as a right-wing one anymore. And I feel politically more and more homeless...

I know what you mean about feeling politically homeless. I’m probably considered right wing by most of you but I don’t like guns, don’t like religion, always hated the confederate flag and grew up Liberal in (Upstate) NY. But the Liberals I knew - the ones that fought against censorship, against labels and for actual equality - no longer exist. In their place are self-righteous terrorists that use intimidation and violence to try and silence anyone not at the top of the hierarchy. They are the majority now and have all the power. Yeah It should be quite obvious for everyone to see that by now.

Yep. Took a political compass test and I'm far left anarchist apparently. But I've lost count of how many times I've been called an MRA and woman hater.

I think that's one of the reasons the MRA/TRA got a foothold so easily. Liberally political radical feminists trusted the left to have our backs and the moment men wanted something they shoved a knife in it.

I liked the left because they seemed more compassionate and didn't deny science the way the right did. But now I've come to realize that both sides will deny or embrace whatever science pushes their agenda, and neither side is compassionate.

the radical feminist movement originally grew out of women who broke away from the Left as it was in the 60s and 70s because of the misogyny. There are quite a lot of us who know the Left have never been our friends.

It's been a hard lesson for me.

This right here, learned that real fast when I was younger.

In fact few men on the left would help us to achieve equality, so we never relied on them, all the reforms women got, women got by themselves and it was a very hard slog which is why women are so determined not to lose those rights now. Show me one man in history who fought for women's rights? There is'nt one and men should be ashamed that they happily held power over women...really ashamed and have never apologised in any country for it.

Honestly, I think we need to give up on left/right type categories. Specify specific beliefs.

Porn. It's porn. The problem is porn.

I feel like suppressing women’s voices and women’s rights is a right-wing ideology. I’m just sad it’s seeped into some well known left wing social media sites.

Suppressing women's vocies is part of right-wing ideology but the trans movement is a left-wing ideology. Unfortunately there is misogyny on both the left and the right.

Nope. It was a total lefty reaction. Let's face it the RW and RW-aligned made up what 90 percent of the coverage on JY for one thing. WoLF didn't partner with Heritage because they LIKED them, they did it because there was no other megaphone of that size. R/gc was 5K subscribers when that happened. Look what happened to it.
