Videogames are probably the last safety net that is stopping psychologically deranged people from reaching out to illegal and unethical things like violence, drugs, suicide, etc. If you see someone being extremely addicted to videogames that they would rage over losing a game, it is very likely that they are just trying to feel like they are achieving something in life (ie when they win in a game) because everything else is falling apart and they want to feel like they have some control. If you see someone addicted to games, don't hate them, give them love, they need to feel loved. They need love (probably therapy too)

Pretty hard to give love to someone who punched his baby to death because he lost a stupid game.

Some people don't raise a child right and the rest of the world will condemn the child for growing up to be a bad person. I think you missed my point. It is not about loving people that kill their kids. It is about providing emotional security to people who are going downhill so that they do not end up committing violent things like this.
