Rape and impregnate female characters? That goes way beyond sexual harassment and goes to rape.

I agree. This generation keeps wanting sick stuff put in and then is 'shocked' when that stuff is imitated wrongly. It's like giving an 'assault' rifle to a 10 year old and somehow believing he will not misuse it or giving a 16 year old a fighter jet armed with missiles.

Our brains are wired to do things we repeat a lot. Chemical connections get formed and others get weaker which is why you learn to 'ride' a bike without falling off but if you were to fancy riding on a skateboard different parts of the body are being used that usually aren't so it will require a remap of your learning algorithms.

Same with violent media if your exposed to it too long the connections grow stronger and soon you become what you consume as you lose connections to what's right and wrong now with drugs it creates a 'Hyper' sensation that will overload the connections and burn them out and that effect is sadly permanent. Even if you recover from the effects a part of your brain is permanently damaged. A lot of people often find Christ this way because they wind up being at their wits end and it's either the prison or dying on the streets for them due to their own choices.

Even locked away in her majesty's prison many have turned and realized they are responsible for their choices despite whatever shit is thrown at them and have 'woken up' to smell reality and encourage people on the outside to do the right thing.

I disagree with the way you present your view. I feel you state it as though it's the standard and not the exception.

I've played hype violent games for decades with no ill effects (IE Dead space, Resident Evil, COD ect.) I clearly know it is fiction and can separate a game from reality. I will concede there is a small minority that can not handle it but the vast majority knows the difference.

It's the same basic thing people have been complaining about for years. People think video games promote violence and like to cite columbine but then forget about how we had rampage killings for literally centuries if not millennia before.

Playing loads of COD will definitely condition you to be better at the game. Meaning you will instinctively respond by clicking the mouse when you have a target. Probably will improve your target leading skills slightly, but increase violent impulses? Hardly. Spill over into real life? Firing guns is a lot different than playing a video game.

It's like saying, playing racing games will encourage dangerous driving habits and speeding. Or that playing the Sims will encourage controlling and psychopathic behavior and give people a god complex.

The thing is violent games are pretty much all there is. Look at the list of the 90s. There were a lot more companies that no longer exists. Humongous Entertainment had 'Spy Fox' 'Freddie The Fish' 'Putt Putt' 'Pajama Sam' There was Broderbund. Maxis, Edmark that all made interesting titles without being weird or naughty. Now a days every company is either making some kind of farm game or a shooting game.

Indie games are that way too just with shitter graphics and EA (Early Access) being the norm 'We promise if you fund us to fix it' half the time they don't at least from reviews I've seen.

Just look at the last few Game Awards. Almost every game looked and sounded like a copy/past effect with different backgrounds to the point I couldn't tell one from the next. Star Citizen actually stood out for me because there is more to do THEN just shoot up endless monsters/zombies or whatever the f'k they think of. Hell one of the games literally was about heads exploding. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrooooooooooooooooooooossssssssssssssssss alert!

Star Citizen I hope succeeds and they implant different jobs pretty well. There's also another one that got me confused with Star Citizen called Starship Simulator as the title says it's a WIP where literally every aspect of a 'Enterprise' like ship is going to be functional down to the bolts and rivets. There's literally miles and miles of wires that all go to various functions of the ship all act as they should including wear and tear, etc.
