Do you think Nintendo doesn't do their Treehouse events anymore cause of Broderbund copyright problems with a similar name?

It was my favorite childhood game but I have emulated the others in the series and this seems the most polished not because of nostalgia as I played 'The Playroom' on Kidsoft demo disks once and never liked it. Thought it was too dumb and repetitive and so did Dad. We went with this one though it was the Dos version which doesn't have the lyrics.
I wonder if Nintendo was eventually threatened by the Broderbund.inc arsenal of lawyers and they politely declined to show it anymore? Broderbund apparently not only still has a website but actively sells software designed for 64 bit.https://www.broderbund.com/where-in-the-world-is-carmen-sandiego-download-windows

Nintendo went out of their way to avoid using any part of their name, even though they had nothing to do with that game. The reason I think that is because Nintendo doesn't have any real reason to use the name "Broderbund" anymore. The Treehouse events are not related to the company at all, and it would be extremely confusing for people to think that the company was still in existence. The only reason it's still relevant is because it was a popular name for games and other things back in the day.
