Sure, but NOTHING beats Pokemon; And definitely not a Zelda game.

In fact when Skyward Sword came out Gamestop was told by Nintendo there would be such a rush they'd not keep up so did a rare move providing double coverage of employees! If you know ANYTHING about GS they hardly EVER do that unless they think for good reason it will be like when the PS3 came out with people trampling each other. They totally dropped the ball however as despite double coverage it was as slow or slower then a typical business day. You do the math.

They definitely overhyped it then. Zelda's a good series, but I do remember not being particularily interested in SS. I wanted another Ocarina of Time, which Twilight Princess sadly did not satisfy. Even now I haven't yet finished the game. And from the looks of it I could tell SS would be a very linear game with a small overworld which I personally was really not in the mood for back then. Open world was all the rage when it came out and I think everyone was craving that type of sandboxy game. Nintendo delivered on that eventually, though with Breath of the Wild.

Yet they tried it AGAIN and thought the results would somehow be different? Isn't trying the same thing over and over again while expecting different results never mind I forgot how the saying goes.

I'm talking recently Gamestop did double coverage when SSHD came out.

And Nintendo has forgot their lessons already.
