I can't believe there's no Dayz sub

Like any other game you have high and low points, last 30 days are +3.86%. I enjoy being able to travel anywhere and meeting people from around the world unlike most other games.

After finally getting off the coast, I made it as far as the north end of Vybor Air Base, then starved to death in a barracks building.

I have DayZ on the PS4, but only played a few times. Out of all the games I have on the PS4, I pretty much only play GTA Online. But maybe it's time for a return to Chernarus.

There are three or four DayZ maps now, zombies are much smarter. I had problems getting inland but once you know your way arond it get's easy, did you play official or community servers ?. I like community servers with all the mods. Last night I logged in and made it up to novy sobor and still no weapons, it happens. And love GTA fivem.

I played on a pretty quiet community server. Found a Scottish guy to play with and learn how to do a few things, but have forgotten most of it. lol He was always too drunk to play, and then I stabbed my wrist and was out of action for a few months.

Any tips on finding a good server?

I've been pulling off the cayo perico heist lately. Finally having some spending money again.

Good servers, not sure if good or not but I like the hide out chernarus and heros haven chernarus. Good mods and I always find all I need, Yesterday I found a helicopter but died trying to fly it. Plus if you tap "m" you have a map and can place way points.

Aside from somehow finding another friend to play with, what is the best or quickest way to learn all the mechanics? I did learn how to garden, build a fire, cook food, repair stuff, and handle weapons, but there's a lot I still don't know. Is there a site or youtuber that's particularly good?

Well for building a fire it's way better than say 0.63, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_CCEMnwvPA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xa6eEwCjiKk. I'm on the hideout US3 51.222.80.53 and working my way to vybor. In game tap M to bring up the map and for a way point just tap on the location you want and it set's the waypoint. My routine consist of finding knifes,axe and better clothing then head inland. Head to youtube and search for sa y Dayz build a fire then filter to this month so you get the lateist videos. And if you meet someone named Krauel don't shoot it's me. I tend to hang around novaya petrovka as I'm near anamals and milatary locations.

Did you make it to Vybor without dying?

How do you get most of your food? Do you garden, hunt animals, or find canned foods?

I had began to plant gardens as I made my way northwest. Never got into hunting, but it sounded like the best source of food.

It took a few trys but I did make it to Vybor.

Kill zombies, loot homes, kill any anamal I find, I ended up playing a no kill server to learn my way around. Then played on low pop servers.
