You are the same sex as Elliot page, babes.

Both adult human females, no? Elliot did not testosterone herself into becoming male.

[–]GenderbenderShe/her/hers[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (20 children)

Elliot Page did testosterone himself into a male. He is becoming a gorgeous and handsome man.

Also, most trans men don't want to be classed with females and I respect that. I don't want to be classed with gender criticals even though I'm a cis woman. I understand GCs don't want to be classed with trans women but many cis women do. People in your sex category include J.K. Rowling, Julie Bindel and Sheila Jeffreys and I respect that.

Oh, wow, so you consider a woman with different political opinions to not be the same sex as yourself?! That is the most bizarre thing I think I've heard yet from the QT side. And that's saying something.

[–]HouseplantWomen who disagree with QT are a different sex 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Boys who agree with gender roles like jazz Jennings are apparently the same sex as GB, female, but gender critical women are now not ‘cis’ women..I’m so lost. Previously we were all either cis women because we actually do have gender identity or we have agender identities because we don’t accept being informed of having women identities we just aren’t admitting to.

I’m excited for what’s next.

[–]Juniperius 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It is getting more and more unpredictable! Kind of dadaist. Every comment at once a non sequitur and a cliffhanger.

[–]GenderbenderShe/her/hers[S] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (4 children)

Here is the thing. As I've stated before I share a sex with Oprah, Laverne Cox, Beyonce, MJ Rodriguez, Rihanna, Jazz Jennings, Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift. So I obviously categorize myself with cis and trans women. Many gender critical women expressed they do not want to be categorized with trans women, so I will respect that as well. So I'm fine with them creating their own sex category. If they want to categorize themselves with cis women I think most cis women are OK with it. However trans men expressed they do not want to be categorized with women and that needs to be respected as well. Due to the wishes of GC women, I no longer categorize them with trans women but I am a cis woman who categorizes herself with trans women and anyone who shares a sex with me will share a sex with trans women, so I think its fair to have a separate category for gender critical women. I respect everyone's identity and won't categorize groups who don't mutually agree to be categorized.

Oh, just stop. You're always trying to give this image that you are this super good and super tolerant person, who is even willing to disavow their own family for the crime of calling a man a man. But no one buys it. It sounds so fake. Especially when you say things like you "respect" our "identities", yet you miss the point of anything we say and now you are even pretending we are not the same sex because of our political beliefs.

I don't know why you do this, but trying to appear as this super trans ally won't save you when (not if) QT disavows you for not keeping up with their ever changing rules.

[–]Juniperius 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

So sex has absolutely nothing to do with bodies. Only with people mutually agreeing to be in a club together. So you have personally spoken to "Oprah, Laverne Cox, Beyonce, MJ Rodriguez, Rihanna, Jazz Jennings, Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift" and asked all of them whether they mutually agree to be in a club with you?

Of the group above, and the group consisting of gc women, which kind of female is my cat?

[–]adungitit 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It's too bad that GC base things on actual reality, and not on whatever anyone "wants" to be true. That's the key distinction. The reason you can keep saying insane bullshit like labelling GC a gender identity is because your ideology allows anyone to say anything. There is nothing actually defining GC, or gender, or identities, or society. The world around you only exists only because of what someone told you they "wish" were true, and no proof or evidence or even sensible logic is necessary. In fact, it is offensive due to showing a lack of faith. It's very similar to how religion works.

We do not identify as women. We ARE women. We are recognising a biological fact that is physical and measurable, and whose biological mechanisms have been understood for a while now. We do not identify as women with the same logic as we might identify with being interdimensional dragon-fairy cross-breeds. That we might claim we do not want to be categorised with women, or human beings in general, does not actually make us into magical beings, because being a human is a biological, measurable reality of our existence, and no amount of temper tantrums or trying to identify out of it through wishful thinking affects that.

That Elliot Page is neither a man nor an interdimensional dragon-fairy cross-breed is measurable and provable. The fact that she can say she "wishes" she was male or magical is 100% irrelevant. People wanting the Earth to be the centre of the universe never actually made it so.

Male doesn’t mean whatever you want it to mean. Plenty of TRA even admit this.

Sex categories did not cease to exist to people who feel that their sex category is incorrect.

Every time you ask me to pretend along with you and say male and female mean whatever is convenient to you today, I’ll remind you that while I’m obliged to not ‘misgender’ users here, I’m never going to share your belief system just because it’s what you think is nicest.

Elliot isn’t gonna see anyone disagreeing with her or anyone complimenting her to appear super nice.

[–]GenderbenderShe/her/hers[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (8 children)

But saying Elliot Page is the same sex as me is misgendering me. Page is a man, a guy, a dude. I am a woman which is a 180 of what he is.

[–]BiologyIsReal 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

How do you know it? You've been unable to define the characteristics of a woman so far. So, could you tell us with great detail how you and Page are completely opposite?

[–]GenderbenderShe/her/hers[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Man is the opposite of woman. Page is a man. Since I'm not, that's how we are opposites.

[–]BiologyIsReal 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Saying women and men are opposite is meaningless as long you won't describe HOW they are opposite.

I'm going to make up two words: haskilm and bopagi. What do they mean, you ask? Easy. A haskilm is anyone who says they are a haskilm. And a bopagi is anyone who says they are a bopagi. Do you not understand what i mean? No problem, I'm happy to explain. Haskilm and bopagi are opposite. That should clear things up, right? What? Still no clue? But I followed all your steps for defining words!

[–]Juniperius 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Elliot Page has to be female in order to be a transman. Could Jason Momoa decide that he is a transman?

[–]GenderbenderShe/her/hers[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Elliot Page was assigned female at birth but at the moment he's not female. He's a man and I'm a woman, making us different sexes.

[–]HouseplantWomen who disagree with QT are a different sex 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Stop conflating sex and gender to virtue signal. It’s intellectually dishonest and indicates you are arguing in the poorest faith.

You, Elliot, and I are all the same sex. Sex is not, never has been, and never will be determined by how someone feels. If Elliot wasn’t female, she’d never have a reason to transition.

[–]GenderbenderShe/her/hers[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Page is a man and I'm a woman. Since I'm not a man I don't want to be categorized with him.

[–]HouseplantWomen who disagree with QT are a different sex 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The world does not operate in whatever convenient and contradictory ways you insist it does in order to virtue signal.

Your wants are meaningless nothings when compared to material reality. These arguments aren’t just intellectually dishonest, they’re wholesale stupid.

If page is male, why’d she get her breasts chopped out? Why does she take testosterone? Why does she identify as trans?

You are literally denying the reality of the transgender people you use to make yourself look holier than thou.

Today you can claim a man is the opposite of a woman but you have previously argued that those differences are something we made up, or that those differences are so miniscule compared to the importance of how one feels about them, that they may as well not exist. Now, when it is an opportunity to cry ‘misgendering’ sexed differences are so vast that male and female are opposites.
Do you see any flaw in your habit of arguing this way? Do you think it’s honest? Do you see why I cannot respect what you say and view it as nothing more than self-interested performance aimed at people desperate for acceptance and protection from reality?

You change what you claim more often than some people change their knickers. Why should anyone here take you seriously or accept any argument you make when you cannot stick to a single argument? You argue anything as long as it provides an opportunity to frame yourself as a nicer, more accepting person than us, but you literally deny the existence of actual transgender experiences if it’s easier to signal your alleged virtue.

It’s not a moral victory to use the people you claim you adore as a tool to flex how moral and nice you feel you are.

[–]BiologyIsReal 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Elliot Page did testosterone himself into a male. He is becoming a gorgeous and handsome man.

That is not how it works. Humans cannot change sexes. All taking exogenous testosterone can do is making some superficial changes (like voice dropping and increasing body hair) and creating a lot of health problems. Page has NOT became a man in the same way a female athlete does NOT become a man for dopping herself.

[–]GenderbenderShe/her/hers[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The testosterone men take for it's effects is different from anabolic steroids. Steroids often have other ingredients and athletes take them in much higher does. Trans men take testosterone to masculinize their appearance and men in general take testosterone for a variety of reasons, including cis men with low testosterone. Page is a man.
