It doesn’t. It differentiates between men and trans women on a structural level. That’s my point.

But it only proves that they are men with a disorder or neurological difference. If that’s the case, why are others expected to say a woman is a man with maybe a bit more white matter? Why can we not simply recognise them as a type of men?

Because you ate conflating male and men in a way that we don’t agree with.

Isn’t it true that other mental health issues can be observed in the brain?

Are schizophrenic males not men? Bipolar males not men? I think I read you can see a difference run homo and heterosexuals… how do we know who Is a man if brain differences matter this much?

And when did sex or gender become about the brain?

Identity has always been about the brain.

Okay. But gender and sex aren’t. Way to ignore my point lmao

But gender identity is in the brain.

And irrelevant to anyone but the person who claims to have one. You can identify as whatever you choose. It doesn’t mean it’s real or fact or anyone has to or will take you seriously.

So? What relevance does an idea held by a tiny proportion of the population have to do with sex? Why does the understanding of sex need to change over gender identity being felt by a minute group? Why does gender identity have to matter to anyone who isn’t experiencing it?

[–]Penultimate_Penance 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

What evidence do you have that gender identity actually exists? Is it consistently and objectively verifiable via brain scans or some other objective measure? If not then gender identity beliefs have no place whatsoever in how we run a secular society.

So? What makes the baseless disagreement of a tiny group with the use of a word a reason for everyone to be made to change their use of the word?

How is that similar at all to the natural evolution of language? Nobody was ever threatened with rape and murder for saying inflammable doesn’t mean can’t burn.

Every trans person and every supportive non trans person doesn’t seem like a tiny group.

What percentage of the entire English-speaking world is trans or actually believes that men who maybe have a wee bit more white matter are women?

[–]circlingmyownvoid2 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Enough to matter.

I asked for a number, not your opinion on it.
