Well, I mean it's getting compared to homophobia and racism. And plenty of people online talk about "TERFs" like we're witches and devils who should be shunned or even raped and killed. To say the situation is polarized right now is an understatement. I agree with you, the whole political scene is a mess. Not even just about trans issues, I mean look at Trump and his supporters and what happened on Jan 6. It's pure craziness. People just need to take a giant step back and breathe and talk about our differences and try to find a way forward.

There are definitely people on the extreme ends of either spectrum, but most people are more towards the middle. There are a few women on Ovarit (maybe 2 or 3) that I would not want to be around due to their attitudes towards trans people. But that's 2 or 3 out of thousands who are members. Most of us genuinely want to live and let live. No one wants to be locked into battle with another community. We don't get pleasure out of it. If anything, we're scared, frustrated, and battle fatigued. Radical feminists have no political representation, no political voice, and no real power at the moment. We're just trying to stay afloat, and if a small minority of us are being jerks on the Internet, it doesn't invalidate the whole movement.
