And I'd say it is not even transgender people's fault. It is conservative abusive men (and friends) found way to reduce rights and powers of minorities and to spread the abuse, but this time by framing it is as something good and progressive. And now many are just jumping the bandwagon (mostly men) or becoming victims of ideology (mostly teen women, 5337% increased transition rate for them). And in the end it is already marginalized groups of people who are suffering from it - people of color, women, gender non-conforming people, LGB people, intersex people, and even old-school transsexuals. While men are gaining more power and control over spaces (like that NYC district, where right before elections man decided to become transwoman and he with other man from same political power won both places - men's and women's), or 56% of transwomen in prisons are men who decided to transition after getting to prison and asked to move them to women's prison (and mostly they are sexual offenders, so sexual offender crimes are over represented among transwomen, almost 2~2.5 times more than in general for men) - who are then detransitioning after getting out of jail (at least few cases were like that), men are taking women's places in goverment, or taking control over women's organisations (like in UK just year ago transitioned manager took over women's help and pregnancy support center). And then they are using their power to remove word "woman" from everywhere - because when it is "people's abortion problems" - it is everyone's problem, not just women's problem, so men have voice there too, when we are "birthing bodies" - sex-work is justified, as we are just bodies and not human beings, and so on. And at same time men's spaces are not touched, word "man" nowhere is replaced. And it in the end hurts transsexual and "good transwomen" too, because of the fact that most of newly appeared TW are just from those men who want to abuse system or control women (and hurts transmen, because a lot of lesbians, gnc young women are transitioning to transmen under the pressure, and while only 4-5% of TW are getting surgeries, more than half of TM are getting at least top surgeries, which is destroying their body for the whole life, as most of them detransitioning later on).
