If if if if if. If I grow a stem cell horn and get it put on my head am I a unicorn?

It’s not happening so who cares.

Is a prosthetic leg a real leg? What if medical technology is good enough to make it look and functions like a real leg? I assume you'd probably say no so you have your answer.

Also, I agree with the others, stop spamming ffs.

I would argue that prosthetic leg will be a bad example, much better example will be prosthetic hand - even if it will look like the real one somhow, it will still not have grip and will not be able to do same work as the real one.

Didn't you just post this two days ago?

I'd question why it is so important that it be a "real" penis. It's not an organic penis if it's created in a lab. And a penis is not a standalone organ. It's just one piece of the entire male reproductive system. Even if you could grow a penis from stem cells, what about testicles, vas deferens, hell, what about sperm? A female body cannot produce male gametes.

You know what? Sure. Yes. You’re absolutely right and all of us commenting “no it’s still not a penis” are wrong because... reasons.

Can you stop asking this now?

Are you like, creating this topic every few weeks or something? I am pretty sure I saw this already at least 2 times.

Transplanted or implanted organs are acknowledged as being transplanted or implanted. Even in a hypothetical world with magic stem cells they would still come with a lifetime of daily immunosuppressants, potential dietary restrictions, physical limitations, etc. Not all transplants are successful, sometimes the body rejects them almost immediately and sometimes they just stop working years later, I don’t see how stem cells would change this.

You need a reality check, please accept that people aren’t going to just blindly tell you what you want to hear and people who easily agree with you without debate aren’t doing you any favors, echo chambers aren’t healthy.

Expecting someone to honestly say a neopenis equivalent to a real penis is just setting yourself up for disappointment. Failure to disclose a neopenis is shitty and potential sex partners are under no obligation to lie about how realistic or unrealistic a neopenis looks or functions.

Devoting energy to debating whether a neo penis is a real penis without considering appearance and functionality is counterproductive. I have yet to see neo penis that looks real, they also tend to be smaller than average, ED is a strong possibility and if it does get erect ejaculation is unlikely. An average size neo penis that easily achieves and maintains erections and ejaculates is like winning a superfecta or seeing an albino alligator outside a nature preserve. To me, those four things are more important than whether a penis created using stem cells fits the definition of “real” because if it doesn’t look like a real penis or function like a real penis then what is it?

A real penis made from stem cells that is attached to a female body is an impossibility because the penis is a male sex organ.

You've been spamming this question across saidit in the last few days. You've gotten your answers, please just give it a rest. Also, I asked you several questions which you have refused to answer. Please answer them.

In your hypothetical world where a penis can be grown from stem cells, then a penis can be grown from stem cells. If you’ve stipulated that the penis is as functional as a liver or kidneys grown in a lab, and that those count as real (fair enough) — then it’s a real penis.

I see you've posted this twice now, maybe you could explain what you're trying to get at? Because I don't see the big deal either way. Whether you wanna call it real or not doesn't change anything, so why does it matter?

Why the emphasis on the word "real"? It seems like an imperfect descriptor for the set you've defined, which contains both real and unreal elements.

In the scenario you proposed, the dick would be both fully functional (assuming it's integrated into a similarly functional male reproductive system, as worried19 noted) and artificial - whether or not it is real is philosophical.
