A healthy consensus of trans women would agree trans women aren’t men at least . I personally do consider myself male (but not a man )while many trans women wouldn’t.

But you’ll speak for and over those who don’t. A healthy consensus of everyone else would agree that male and man are the same. That consensus would be far larger. Why are we all wrong about not sharing your subjective belief system?

You don’t have to share our beliefs to not insult us. Just because a straight person might not consider fag an insult to gay people, just a discriptor. But that doesn’t mean gay men need to have friendly discourse with someone calling them a fag.

Terms like “fag” are not descriptors. Man and male are. You’re comparing apples and oranges.

I would be just as offended by being called either.

So? Your personal feelings aren’t universal.

I never claimed they were, but insults have a subjective element.

Meaning that something can be used in a way that’s not intended to be insulting. Like calling males men because that’s what man means to us.

So we aren’t calling transwomen names to be mean. Transwomen are feeling hurt about being accurately identified as their sex.

It’s an insult to nearly every trans woman. Whether you “intend” it to be or not. You know that. You’ve been repeatedly informed of precisely that. In using it any way you are actively choosing to insult them. At best it is choosing to knowingly insult us and choosing to disregard potential hurt. You can’t get around that.

so women should accept the insult of being forced by males to call males women, because why? male feelings matter more? Males are more hurt than women are?

This is the part you keep avoiding. Calling males women is a dire insult to me. Why does this insult matter less than one you perceive?
