I'm with him. Fuck the sheeple in the comments.

I know right? So many threats of violence against an actual peaceful protest. "Taze him", "Kick him in the balls/ribs", "Drag him by his feet" and "He's a terrorist". Imgur seems to be compromised by fake/paid comments otherwise, how can this many people be that stupid? While the efficacy of his method could be argued, I found it amusing(but the context is sad and depressing). OTOH, I discovered that iphone and Android users are as equally dumb...

Why wouldn't tazing him be appropriate in this scenario? He is on private property.

How does violence solve anything, including non-violent "trespassing" in a public place trying to simply purchase goods and leave without bowing to the tyranny?

How does violence solve anything

The law permits the police to use force in certain situations, but I am sure you knew that.

Laws written by tyrants are unjust. Being legal doesn't make it right.

Was he threatening anyone? They could just drag him by his feet. The whole premise is flawed anyway. Then again, why bother commenting in the FuckMasks sub when you're obviously on the authoritarians' side?

I am sure they'd drag him by his feet, but if he resisted then tazing him is perfectly appropriate in the US.

Violence is never appropriate.

I agree. You must not be American.

It's no secret I'm Canadian. I've also lived 10 years in the US, in New York, San Francisco, Austin, etc. I now live again in Windsor, Ontario, just across the river from Detroit, viewed from my window. I'm very familiar with Americans. My land lady is one, though she hasn't been here all year.

I'm very familiar with Americans.

I don't really understand what that sentence means. You're familiar with some Americans? (Most people on Earth are familiar with some aspects of America). Out of all the countries in the world, the US probably contains the most diverse set of persons in the world.

Back on topic: I am sure the Canadian police also would resort to violence to remove someone from private property. It's normal. Perhaps not the same actions called for on Twitter though.

I went to Canada in the summer once--to my surprise it was unbearably hot.

The cops enforcing this BS are the worst part. That is their community too. Maybe they are ignorant enough to believe that enforcing masks really will end the 'pandemic', but if not they are as bad as the politicians who are hard at work turning the US into china2

They're busy passing new laws everyday so they CAN shoot you for doing this shit and you're not informed of it, or even aloud to vote on it OR protest it!

Literal serial killer. Superspreader.

100% bullshit. He's killed no one, nor is he going to. He's not responsible for anyone else's health but his own and his family. Remaining free from tyranny is not intentionally harming anyone, ie. serial killer.

Manufactured hysteria has everyone afraid of killing grandma.

Am I responsible for what you eat, your nutrition, your health, your air, your chicken pox, or other viruses?

FUCK NO.

Do I want other people to die?

FUCK NO.

Do I want responsible open and verifiable science and safety and laws and to quit all these bullshit random mandates?

Fuck ya.

Yes, it was sarcasm. Poe's Law strikes again.

[–]JasonCarswell[S] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

Sarcasm, I think I've heard of that. /s

There are too many anonymous people here wit diverse opinions and I can't keep track of who's woke or not. Indicating that it's sarcasm helps.

[–]Intuit 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Fair point. Implied sarcasm somewhat rides on speaking to the choir, which can shade into an echo chamber. I was going to say that I hope that people who actually believe that COVID-19 is a serious, deadly pandemic don't visit here, but I would take seriously anyone who believes that and makes good arguments for it. I should welcome anyone who has very different views that are based on sound steps of reasoning. I have to be open to that if I want to keep seeking the truth.

Insightful.
