basically you're at a higher risk of drowning in the bathtub or being electrocuted by your toaster

I don't think so because I've been electrocuted by my toaster a few times but I haven't died of covid once yet.

For a perspective on the vast numbers:

If you live to be exactly 80 years old, times 365 days per year - that means you have on 29,200 days in your life - or 700,800 hours.

I the Lock Step Lockdown still worth it?

If the risk of dying were actually 1 in 19.1 Million, then we should only see a total of 18 American COVID deaths by the end of this pandemic.

With or without co-morbidities?

2019-12-16 USA = 330,149,796

Earth = 7,800,000,000

Well, they do explicitly say that these numbers are "for Americans between ages 50 to 64"...

Apparently in the Netherlands or somewhere in Europe they recently released the data saying the average COVID death was 84 - meanwhile their average life span was 82.
