Kind of misleading headline. The troops were deployed by Trump and have been on rotation there to combat Islamic terrorists (al-Shabab) operating in Somalia with connections to Al Qaeda. Biden's actually just reducing the number of troops. Honestly, fuck Somalia. We tried helping them before and look where it got us. Let em rot. I don't see Al Qaeda or al-Shabab as being much of a threat there. Let the Somali warlords earn their keep.
