If freedom of online speech means anything, it means freedom to tell technologists and online platform moderators what they do not want to hear, with beehaw's allegation that phrenology is racist as a specific case of the "Double Standard of Tolerance"

Unfortunately freedom of speech only means the government can't stop you from saying things, it provides no such protections from private companies who can very much legally restrict your speech on their privately owned server

Now where this gets messy, is that the government was threatening to end section 230 protections if they didn't do censorship by-proxy - clearly against the spirit of the constitution, but a bit grayer area legally
