A great deed. Who would've guessed that communist regimes would collapse when Soviets stopped strongarming half of Europe into staying red? It's sad and worrying to see that Russians seem to be trying to start the whole circus again. If Putin rigs the votes at cost of communists, then by God let him rig them

But outside of covid and assuming we are not in middle of fascis overtake, yes. There's hardly anything commies did better.

the commies were competition to capitalism, our capitalist rulers didn't want to go too overboard making our lives hard and taking our rights, because we might go commie. Not much of a threat now, just china is "communist" and no one wants to be like them, they're pretty terrible. They said the nazis were a bulwark against communism. Really communism was a bulwark against fascism.
