But if policeman has a firearm, he may be able to prevent it.

I'm kinda worried about this specific case though. If officer never carried guns before, chances are he'll hit victim and his partner 1st.

What a sick and twisted logic. Of course its not good deed. Now common citizen in that country would need to be armed up due to psychopaths in police force as well, not only random psychopaths (which will continue to exist whether or not police carries weapon).

The only good news is that its fucking Denmark, so something for away from me (and it does not affect my life).
