I agree, the word choice is quite weak but I don't doubt they will kick out the "Church" Soon. :)

It's also hard to feel sorry for cult members once you understand feeling superior to non-members is one of the main draws keeping them there.

it was proven fake like 15 years ago so they should all leave it. I get religions are weird but say if there was proof Jesus was made up or something, people should leave christianity. Obviously not the case there but with L Ron it came out that the final revelation the top scientologists get told is that it's all about an alien name Thenon or whatever. I mean cmon. The guy was a sci fi writer.

I mean the scientology theology actually has a lot in common with many new age beliefs, and also the prison planet theory held by many more conspiracy theory minded spiritual people, so it's not like their religion is extra weird in the context it came out of.

After all a talking burning bush is just as mad as reincarnated aliens.

yeah some of the stuff scientology talks about makes sense it's just a shame it's based on BS at the end, would work better as just a philosophy or a way of life or something but L Ron knew religions make the most money.
