so buy high heels and waste money on bullshit like that too look cool? Military gear is supposed to be effective not look cool. Luckily Russia has effective AND cool-looking military gear.

Tactically, a parade is a pointless, worthless thing - a waste of time and money. The purpose of a parade is for show, for morale, pride etc - both that of the troops and the civillians watching. Looking cool helps towards that goal. Admittedly, fancy uniforms might seem a bit silly unless you know to expect them. Having the tanks painted gold would look silly to me, and it's the same kind of idea. They do paint planes fancy colours for air shows though. Do you object to that?

It does make sense what you are saying, But i still do not see the point of wasting money on women for "better" high heels (Not in terms of look for coolness, just a little more comfortable) just for a parade. Unneccesary.

Sure. They can just wear whatever they wore for presumably many years before the assholes in the media kicked up a fuss.
