Good article!
Over Christmas, my family and I were doing some research into AllSorts. I had found sources saying that each candy has a name (like twists, spogs, dots, etc). But we couldn't track down what candy was called what! Have you any ideas?
We found out the pucks covered in lots of small balls are called spogs, or horsecakes. But we had to guess on the others, there doesn't seem to be any official data on this!

I came across the lists of names but did not find out which name corresponded to which candy. You probably found this website
https://web.archive.org/web/20080722115133/http://www.cadbury.com/ourbrands/otherfavouritebrands/candy/bassetts/Pages/Overview.aspx
It lists the names but that's all.
Sorry I can't be more helpful.
