I know right? Clown World™ has a big dick now - until it goes deep trans.

I know, right? Bloody geniuses.

Hey Jason, I see this many many times on the front page. - 4this time in 2 min. Are you saying that the waterway is blocked? I didn't click the link.

Yep, I crossposted in /s/collapse, /s/economics, /s/FoodCrises, and /s/LockdownSkepticism.

There's some important information in that video. I highly recommend checking it out.

Fortunately the LXXX STABs decided to artificially upvote it because it's important information, and more often than not even great posts get ignored.

Unfortunately the LXXX STABs decided to artificially upvote it so it looks like spam instead of one post organically taking the lead, as used to happen before they showed up. I expect an admin will remove 3/4 of them and those subs won't have the topical information anymore.

3 posts is the maximum, to be used occasionally. Do not exceed it again. 1 is recommended, posting 3 every time you post is spam. Do not spam saidit. Also every single time you do this it is being astroturfed, and this is also not allowed. Further instances of abusing saidit like this repeatedly may result in a ban of your account.

LAME

You only pop up to flex your cock with your new stupid dictator rules that I don't recall hearing you ask the community about.

Why don't you properly respond to the productive ideas I've pitched, like my post about filtering out the STABs that I even bothered to ping you on?

You're loosing cred man. Time to be a team player or you'll loose your franchise.

You are the ONLY person that is constantly infringing the rules regularly. You obey the rules, or you are not welcome on this website.

[–]JasonCarswell[S] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (16 children)

That's a crock of shit. I'm NOT "infringing the rules regularly" at all. I only heard about this new rule recently.

1) The LXXX sockpuppets are ACTUALLY constantly infringing the rules regularly.

2) Someone else is back ban-evading too.

3) I broke the rule today, on purpose, it's NOT a regular thing, and I'm calling out the fact that you seem to ONLY pop up to give me shit.

THREE examples is NOT "the ONLY person". That's only what I've seen today. Meanwhile you give a clear pass to the ABCs (Airbus Bob3 Chipit and socks) of STABs (shills, trolls, and bots). Maybe you would prefer SaidIt behave more like them. If so, you should be clear about it and let us all know. Some folks would likely jump at the opportunity to be STABs - and some of us will leave you stuck with them.

[–]magnora7 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (15 children)

The LXXX sockpuppets are ACTUALLY constantly infringing the rules regularly.

Yes and they are all banned instantly. Do you want me to ban you as well for breaking the rules like I do them? Because I'm actually being extremely lenient and you're abusing that again and again.

Someone else is back ban-evading too.

They were banned.

I broke the rule today, on purpose

Then I should suspend your account like I do the others, should I not?

[–]JasonCarswell[S] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (14 children)

"again and again."

100% bullshit.

"Then I should suspend your account like I do the others, should I not?"

Instead, how about you respond to the valid issues raised and new ideas proposed and we can have a civil open discussion to find solutions?

Or ban me if you want to vilify yourself worse than you already appear to many.

FYI: I'd already deleted 1 of those 4 posts after your first scolding.

[–]magnora7 6 insightful - 4 fun6 insightful - 3 fun7 insightful - 4 fun -  (13 children)

How about you follow the rules instead of constantly whining and moaning that you're being held accountable? You already said you broke the rules on purpose, so really you should be apologizing.

[–]JasonCarswell[S] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (12 children)

Hypocritically ironic that you say I'm "constantly whining and moaning that you're being held accountable" when it's what you seem to do, if you even bother to discuss anything at all anymore. Meanwhile, I don't whine or moan about it - I call out your obvious shit. Including you whining and moaning about a singular new minor rule broken, one time only, on purpose in my entire 2.5 years here. I defy you to find any other rules I've intentionally broken - besides your subjective nonsense considered downward discussion as you ride my ass for crass talk that pales by comparison to what you let slide on SaidIt.

How about you don't censor my Monday protest posts? And stop riding my ass.

Or better - let's have a decent discussion about those posts and you can explain why you won't consider better, fair, open, and accountable social management systems.

Success doesn't come without a price. TAM's disastrous failure (if you can even call it a valid attempt) is an invitation to try, try again, and to fail better until the problems are minimized. If you have legitimate excuses not to try and prepare for the future, it's in your best interest to share it, publicly preferably, but in private if you must. Otherwise it just looks like a sad ego's need for control. Or, just blink twice if you're part of the establishment and SaidIt is a controlled op.

How about posting once in the most relevant sub? I don't like seeing three of the same posts in a row either.

[–]JasonCarswell[S] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

Me either. I ONLY crosspost if it's worthy and when it's topical to several subs, selecting the most apt. This is M7's attempt to solve the problem of not having metatags / hashtags. He came up with it and he allows it.

More critically important, even if SaidIt currently has a poor search engine and we may not have the tools yet, there's no reason all the research on SaidIt may not one day be better archived, sorted, and valued for research - especially in a darker future of censorship. With great tools that day may come, meanwhile, this is the best we have, annoying as it is. And time consuming for me too.

[–]C3P0 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

This is a programming problem. No content should ever be duplicated. Cross-posts should be marked as such and link back to the thread in the most appropriate sub.

[–]JasonCarswell[S] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

EXACTLY!!!

Doesn't even have to be "the most appropriate sub" - just the first one posted to.

And there should be vigilance for redundancies. For example, all the same video:

[–]C3P0 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Right, but this probably would require rewriting half the website because saidit is just reddit's code from n years ago. Just patching a cross-posting feature on top of the existing code, I'd imagine, would be a nightmare.

[–]beece 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

@JasonCarswell - you seem upset all the time about saidit. Just curious, why do you not take your info to https://www.voat.xyz/? Do you have issue with that place? For myself, I like saidit, but prefer the ability to downvoat posts (not yours of course) like stupid reply's to solid posts, a feature which is not available here but is on voat.

Sounds chilling, if true. It would be fascinating if some big move were happening like Turkey flipping or something - a perfect excuse for a global world war.

Maybe. I think this is the event they wanted, which will be the excuse for other tyrannical nonsense. I really don't think this will happen again, but you never know.

      [–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (4 children)

Turkey flipping to what? I'm not familiar with the political situation there.

      [–]JasonCarswell[S] 4 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 3 fun -  (3 children)

Places like Turkey and Pakistan try to play both sides, the far away global superpower of the Americans and their nearby neighbour Russia and majority of their continent.

Russia has lots of Arctic ocean but is VERY limited for warm ocean access. In part, that's why Crimea is so critical. In winter Russia is almost frozen in.

      [–]Tom_Bombadil 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

      Turkey left nato last year.

Also, Syria has the only Russian port on the Mediterranean.

      [–]JasonCarswell[S] 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

Turkey, I kinda recall something like that, among other things.

TIL re: Syria. They should be extra cautious of another Lebanon-like blast.
