My friend in Vancouver sells equipment to many of the industrial food manufacturers and abatoirs and he said to NEVER buy ground hamburger or get restaurant burgers. He's seen how the sausage is made. He said always grind your own meat for your own burgers.
If I was wise or cared I would.
So today I was splitting and bagging a big thing of hamburger for the freezer and noticed how red it was. They always add red food coloring because folks don't like grey meat. That reminded me...
