i both fish and butcher. it's all abundant, free and delicious. ducks and hens lay the eggs, roosters go in the pot. no other use for them. i tried to sell them, but no takers. rabbits are even more economical to raise, so i might try that next. no need for big numbers, best to keep it small and simple, it's not about money, just good food. if you can pasture, you will save money on feed. they will control the pests, snails and slugs. also, i think animal fats are more healthy and only coconut and olive oil are worth consuming out of all the plant based ones.
