I don't know about the percentage but it's no secret that they fucked up Firefox since v56 or earlier - and I'm quite certain they've all infiltrated everything else opensource too.
Why?
Because it's effective. I quit Firefox after v56 and moved to Vivaldi and then Brave. I'm ready to try some of the other Mozilla-based alternatives, further down on the list: https://alternativeto.net/software/firefox/
