Been reading Otto Wegaman’s book. He was a close associate of Hitler from 1928 through 1930 (Goring hated him). Hitler believed in Social Darwinism and Volkish Socialism at the same time. When Otto pointed out the contradictory nature of these ideas, it started the end of their relationship. Point is Hitler had IDEAS around which people were drawn: nationalism and socialism (hence the name). I don’t see any similar ideas out there around which Americans can unite, except for environmentalism, which the Left already has. We need an idea like that.
