Giving them the benefit of the doubt, which I probably shouldn't, I think they meant to say something like "The increase in hours worked by women is more than the increase in hours from men" but the way it's worded it's about as misleading as possible

Why would you give them the benefit of the doubt? They clearly specifically said, "Women work longer hours than men," when their own data doesn't back up that claim.
