I think you'll find all surveillance media keeps backups of everything you delete whether you know it or not. Remember that tech guy, Marcus Hutchins who shut down the US government's wannacry virus? They pulled up things he had discussed online from decades prior to that in order to incriminate him. Same thing with that guy who set up silk road on the darkweb.
