Probably. I already heard it being compared to 9/11, which is just asinine tbh

This is certainly a historic tragedy. Landmarks such as this do not exist in the US, so there's no historical comparison.

This cathedral was completed over 200 years before Renaissance explorers set sail West.

It survived dynasties and revolutions.

Succumbed to renovation.
