    There is an old (German) joke going like this:

    In heaven, engineers are German, lovers are Italian, contractors are French and the Swiss organize everything.

    In hell, engineers are French, lovers are Swiss, contractors are German and the Italian organize everything.

    I don't know, if I got it 100% correct, but you should get the gist.

      Italians are generally not doing so "well" when inventing shit. So yes.

      E.g. they "invented" a tank that drives faster backwards than forward.
