OP are you interested in talking about why that is?

Or are you just here for the soundbite.

It's because the security council has resolved that Nagorno-Karabakh is part of Azerbaijan. So when you wrote "invade" in the title, you were technically incorrect, because the region in question is internationally recognised as a part of Azerbaijan.

Here are some relevent UNSC resolutions

Is that why Azeris try to eradicate every sign of Armenian presence in the area by destroying centuries old Armenian monuments? Armenians have been the target of a genocidal campaign by Azeris and Turks. Killing all natives and then having UN (virtually an extension of US foreign policy) say that the region belongs to you is not acceptable by civilized people (which obviously excludes those who believe that "right of conquest" exists).

The links you provided basically state that UN asks for Armenians to accept Azeri rule without expressing any concern about the genocidal intentions of Azeris. This has happened too many time in UN history and never ended well.

No, the resolutions are not why azeris are blowing up monuments or whatever, but that's not what I was answering. I was answering why Azeri is not sanctioned - the discrepancy posed by your title - and the answer is, because the region is recognised as Azeri by the international community.

So it's a bit silly of you to say "is that why XYZ" when the original question was not "why is XYZ?"

I tell you that there are relevant UNSC resolutions and you ask "is that why my bus is late? Is that why Manchester United lost at home? Is that why azeris are cutting off fingers and legs?" No, it's not why, you didn't ask that, those questions have answers which I wasn't addressing, when I told you why there aren't sanctions.

So now you want to ask - well, what is the international community doing about the blown up monuments, the fingers and legs cut off?

And there's an answer to that -

Would you now join me in gratitude to Pelosi and the Biden admin for their efforts to bring about peace and end this conflict? What about Blinken's absolute admonishment of Azeri war crimes? Because when you started this thread you wanted to blame the west for not doing anything. But now I've shown you two large sweeping efforts by the west, to do something. What are the ruzzians doing? What is CSTO doing? Nothing. Yet here is Pelosi and Biden trying hard to bring about peace and condemn the condemnable.

If the West wanted to do something, they would bomb Azerbaijan the same way they decided to bomb Yugoslavia.

No, because all western bombing campaigns have been aligned with UNSC instructions and I've just shown you their position on Nagorno Karabakh

All western bombing campaigns have been aligned with jewish interests and white genocide.

I think I can offer some hindsight. Maybe it was because the Azerbaijan regime spends billions to "convince" European and American politicians?

Azerbaijan accused of running $2.8 billion 'secret slush fund' to pay off European politicians

Azerbaijan’s ruling elite ran a secret $2.8 billion slush fund for two years to pay off European politicians and pay for luxury purchases, an investigation has shown.

The secret fund, dubbed Azerbaijani Laundromat, operated for two years until 2014 and was used by the government to win favor among international peers, according to the report published this week by the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP).

Or maybe it was because UN resolutions are insignificant and only the power of weapons matters?

Five killed in latest massacre as Turkey strikes refugee camp deep inside Iraqi Kurdistan

AT least five people were killed and many more injured in two separate Turkish air strikes on Iraqi Kurdistan yesterday, one of which targeted a UN-administered refugee camp.

Or maybe it was because the Azeris don't hide their genocidal instincts and have made them part of their official policy and are even proud of them and will literally get away with murder thanks to the billions mentioned before?

Genocidal sentiment of Azeris and the role of Hungarian government in the escape of the murderer Ramil Safarov

A week before Safarov's release there came reports that the two countries were in talks over a loan from Azerbaijan to Hungary of 2-3bn euros ($2.5-3.8bn; £1.6-2.4bn) which gave way to speculations in Hungary that Orbán extradited Safarov in return for a promise that Azerbaijan would buy Hungarian bonds.

Because EU will happily do business with genocidal dictators currently invading other countries while pretending they care about Russia invading Ukraine.

This warlord is just about as clever as his Turkish counterpart:

The moment the world is looking elsewhere, he is waging just another war already.

This whole region is made to explode literally any moment:

Just consider Turkey and Greece alone: Both are NATO members, still holding deep grudges against each other.

If not for Cyprus, then for their history. But if they were going to war, US wouldn't give a rat's ass, I bet.

Turkey will always take advantage of every occasion to promote its genocidal agenda. The national theme of the country is "conquest" and nothing else, so their culture is about finding new lands, slaughtering the people living there and enslaving the few survivors.

The war in Cyprus was in accordance to US plans. The military leaders of the Greek army during that time admitted that US officials told them not to interfere so they refused to defend the island. Here are some sources on Kissinger's role:
