This just shows what a joke EU is. Turkey threatens EU countries with military invasion and genocide and EU pretends nothing happens. Then EU is supposed to take action against Belarus because of protests, while no European country batted an eye when protesters were beaten in EU countries.

Imho we should get back to oldschool EG containing only France, Germany and BeNeLux. Most southern and especially eastern European countries were financially never fit enough to enter this union. And most of Scandinavia never wanted it which i also know firsthand.

As long as there are all these tax heavens there is simply no sense in simulating a union.

I think Nigel Farage phrased it best when he said that there should be a mutual market agreement but not this kind of monster that EU has turned into.

Now politicians take advantage of the situation to pretend that it's not their fault because they just enforce EU decisions.
