Debts in France? I admit I am not keeping up with everything, but there used to be no such thing as student debt in France.

Student debt is estimated at around 1.5 trillion $ in the US.

How much self-immolation does 1.5 trillion dollars cover in France?

The problem stems from the whole society not being organized around this principle hence even a small amount of debt causes big trouble.
