They already had a peoples vote from what I understand. Why are they demanding another?

You mean the first referendum that started this all?

Basically because the 'leavers' (in parliament) haven't in come up with a leave-plan/deal remotely close to what they promised +- 3 years ago and the people want to vote again because a nodeal is not what the leavers voted for. (also Scotland and N-Ireland voted respectively remain and are f*gged beyond recognition by the 'deal' BJ wants to have now).

Not convincing, I'm afraid. Good deal, bad deal just obfuscates and you might as well go on WTO terms. Also, it's pretty common to see clear outcomes in referenda put to new referenda if the outcome is not in favour of the EU in my experience. It's a shame the whole thing is so divisive.

clear outcomes

That's just the whole problem, not only with promises not being met. Scotland and N-Ireland voted to remain, the way they both are ignored with regards to input for a deal upsets them greatly to the point of maybe leaving. Combined with the 3 years this has been going on and now in 1-2 weeks some scraps were written down as a 'deal', the EU is very pleased with those terms and the people (both remain and leavers) are outraged (already for over 2 years) about the mess the parliament has made of this.
