The real reason for the move could be they know that America has been sold out and will now fall.

If powerful worldly people, the same people who brought us COVID, know the plans for this nation, they would either repent and turn to Jesus for salvation, or continue to reject him and flee, trying to survive the coming judgements.

War is a judgement that comes to those nations that knew God but then reject Him. He is the God of love and peace.... and without Him, love and peace disappear.
