Watch the movie, he mocks the whole DEI movement and liberals.

Moreover, the writer doesn't seem to understand that many of the wealthiest in Hollywood are not necessarily 'liberal' by any stretch of the imagination. Liberal actors get a lot of attention, but the actors, producers &c who are not liberal are often very careful with some of their comments. Also consider that the pro-Israel side of Hollywood (which is significant) is also not liberal. Look also at the extensive military partnerships with important parts of Hallywood, hardly any of whom would ever see themselves as liberal. I'd also argue that many in the Academy (of Motion Picture...) are not particularly liberal.

Just think about what you said.

Is it not generally known that most of the US is centrist and leans left? Trump won because 14 million additional voters who voted for Biden did not vote for Harris. Teump also received 2 million fewer votes this time. 155 million ballots were cast for the recent election. This would mean an estimated 89 million Americans, or about 36% of the country’s voters did not vote. Trump received 76 million votes (though Dominion voting machines miscounted) and Harris received 74 million votes. (That's a very slim margin.) Of the 335 Americans, 259 did not vote for Trump, and those who did vote for him were fooled by lies and misinformation spread by Musk, Trump &co. Trump will not help any of those fools.

Anyhow: would you say anything political if you were trying to sell movies? No. Would you say anything left wing? That's OK because it resonates with most of the US. Would you say anything right wing? No, because that's the party of lies, fraud, crime, felonies, rape, pedophilia, hatred, destruction, evil, racism, genocide, and in general killers of human rights and the American dream. There are a lot of right wing Hollywood assholes. One can normally find them with a basic online search.

I said think. Try thinking for a change instead of ChatGPTing.

So liberals are the only ones who can make movies and documentaries considered for awards...?

This is retarted.

Submitting it is a troll right

Absolutely was a troll. I don't watch much of Matt but from what I have I'm 100% sure he does not give two shits. He just knows some poor left wing bastard is going to have to watch the film to review it for the nomination. That alone will make it worth the trouble in his mind.

Walsh submitted the film so that writers like this one would have hissy fits like this one and give the film free column inches.
