Well, don't be so quick to knock the Bible. I have it in the back of my head that Shakespeare isn't all my teachers cracked him up to be, but out of respect I don't post long tirades about it online. Same with Toni Morrison.

I think you're quite entitled to knock Shakespeare if you feel like it, everyone's entitled to their opinion. I see it as healthy not to conform to whatever echo chamber you happen to be in as long as a person can handle disagreements somewhat respectfully, it's a lost art these days and deserves practice even if you're wrong. Also there's nothing wrong with admitting you might be wrong and showing a bit of flexibility
