I am fairly familiar with San Francisco, at the street level.. I spent three years homeless there about a dozen years ago..

If with Nancy or her husband are either associating with meth addicts, then it is almost guaranteed that either one or both of them are high.

My guess has always been that she is a functional meth user and he is an alcoholic.

These kinds of people will sell their own children for a hit of dope.

Why aren't they being drug tested?

Your theory sounds plausible to me. If one of them is using, the other would be too, at least some of the time. She is certainly on something and I think it's her cocktail of substances, including booze, that gets out of balance sometimes. We've all seen the videos of her at those times. If he is gay, surely he's been around it in SF. That world is just saturated with it as you surely know. Stop calling me Shirley.
