Fuck absolutely everything about this show, the source material, its fat lazy excuse-making author, and its genre. They said they were going to fix it and instead they just made it worse. This is why I hate all this fanboy basement dweller bullshit being put on a pedestal. Back in the 1980s, the last decade where the adults were still running the show, this show would’ve run about a year in first-run syndication before disappearing and developing a weird cult following on the Internet that admits “it doesn’t hold up“ the moment the show reaches DVD.
