They've done what Disney has basically done for awhile now. Use nostalgia to market something, then use ragebait on social media to quell the criticisms on the plot being unnecessary and uninspired.

With this one it was the supposed racist response against the actress, idk if real or not. Twitter users can be real twats. Of course could also just be trolls. Regardless, the actress herself is fine, it's just the roll she plays is dumb. Somehow the show manages to be so painfully and predictably cliche in it's plot developments but still manage completely bizzare choices in characterization and motivation. We've got this new actress in an antagonist roll. And over the course of 6 episodes goes from being a whiny brat that steps outta line with the empire and randomly kills people but is for some reason not simply killed for insubordination, dismember people commit murder, still guys are like ehh next time you step out of line we'll put in a report with HR or something.

Then apparently it's all a ploy to get to Darth Vader and kill him? What? She's good but not really! Then she's good and has a crying fit in the desert.

Ah yeah obi-wan was in it too. He does some stuff and fights Darth Vader and learns a powerful lesson about the power of friendship, realizes all along that Anakin was right the Jedi were evil and they kiss and make up and get married to raise Luke and Leia together. Oh wait that's not what happened? Idk I honestly fell asleep about six times during it. The biggest crime committed is it's boring, and for a show with Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen back together, being boring is just sad.
