Unless it's the one who looks like a toe I don't care.

You think he was lying? Head injuries like she had can give people false memories. My wife drunkenly fell down the stairs once, had to be life flighted to the hospital. Scary bad. I had to take care of her like a baby for a couple weeks. She couldn't do anything herself. She remembers me pushing her. Totally real to her. Luckily she did remember at what point on the stairs she fell and there's no way I could have reached her. But she still has that memory. It's fun.

This could all be a horrible misunderstanding.

I think it's way more likely that he's guilty, based on the jury and the multiple rooms that the assaults happened in. And like drag injuries. But sure everyone could have got it wrong. Holy shit your story is terrifying. I've seen some scary amnesia in real life after head bonks, but man a whole false memory.

The whole thing was a nightmare, and the air evac cost 40k.

Shit man, sounds like it. I'm glad that your wife recovered. It sounds like a one in a million super unlucky fall.
