If one of these surnames came up then they'd Google their address to see if they lived on a caravan park then ban them, they weren't just excluding anyone in the list.

My first office job was selling van insurance to Irish travellers and the list is pretty much spot on. I'm used to their shit so it doesn't bother me but I'm not going to undermine other's worries which are often born out of terrible experiences.

The problems people have with travellers are cultural and criminal not racist. These people are very much white. If they wanted to opt into normal society and blend then they could easily. In fact on my last production one of the women in my team was an English traveller/romany and it only came out when we asked why the hell she had become a security guard at 16 (which is how she then got into film). Traveller kids are hard.
